North Star, Guide Me Home
In the darkness of night,
you shimmer high above,
a beacon of clarity,
calling my wandering soul,
pulling me like a thread,
woven into the fabric of the universe.
Oh, luminous guide,
with your steadfast gaze,
you whisper secrets of the ancient
to the dreamers below,
the lost and the weary,
the hearts adrift in dark waters,
yearning for the warmth of familiar shores.
I walk through the shadows,
where stories linger like ghosts,
each footfall a memory,
each breath a wish whispered
into the crisp wind,
and in the hush of twilight,
I seek your light,
a compass among the constellations.
As the world spins in silence,
I stand on the edge of the unknown,
wrestling with uncertainties,
the fears that try to anchor me,
but your glow cuts through the haze,
a lantern in the wilderness,
telling me to rise,
telling me to trust the path
that leads me home.
Through the rustling leaves of autumn,
through the chill of winter's breath,
I trace the silvery line of your presence,
each moment a testament
to the journey I embrace,
a choreography of heartbeats,
synchronized with the rhythm of the stars.
In dreams, I sail the skies,
navigating with your luminescence,
finding closure in the tales of starlight,
where every twinkle holds a promise,
a return to what is sacred,
to the roots that cradle my spirit,
to the arms of those I've loved,
waiting, always waiting,
while the night enfolds the world.
With you as my guiding light,
I’ll chase the dawn,
hoping each sunrise
will rekindle the fire within,
the warmth of home,
a sanctuary found not in walls,
but in the hearts that know my name.
So burn on, bright North Star,
as I walk this winding road,
illuminating the shadows,
charting a course through the whispers of time,
showing me that even in darkness,
the way remains clear—
a path paved with dreams
and the promise of tomorrow,
leading me home,
where my heart can finally rest.
